Reading.

Lately I haven't read any non-textbooks. Sure, I have many a happy hour reading Jane Austen's novels for that class, but the majority of my reading is not for pleasure and fun. I am working on The Expedition of Humphry Clinker by Tobias Smollett right now. I am going to have to write a research paper on this novel as well. I am not looking forward to it because I am afraid I won't be able to delve deeper into the text and analyze it fully. *sigh* I also have several goodreads books I won that I haven't been able to read because I'm trying so hard to stay on top of schoolwork. I'm looking forward to spring break when I can hopefully manage to squeeze in a book or two. Maybe.

Lately...

I've been receiving so many textbooks in the mail. I love getting packages. I looked up what books I would need for next semester online and then I searched around for the best deal, now they are coming in from all over the place. Today I got three packages, one form New Jersey, another from New York, and the last one was from Washington!

What is slightly irksome is the one I'm supposed to have read by the first week of class is not here. Thanks Northanger Abbey, thanks a lot.

A short update...

I have a headache.
My cold persists and wants to drag me down into icy depths of despair.
I received two packages in the mail containing textbooks.
I read two books in a row without doing anything else.
I completely neglected my room and left it a mess.
I ate ice cream that reminded me of Mexican popsicles.
I did not change out of penguin pajama pants all day.
I looked at new phones.
